What is included in the price?

What is not included in the price!

Costs to repair or replace engine parts damaged by use of incorrect fuel 

Costs to replace lost keys

Costs to repair or replace damaged wheels and/or tyres

Costs to repair damage to the vehicle’s underside

Vehicle glass replacement costs

Costs to repair or replace interior and exterior rear view mirrors

Costs to repair or replace door or ignition locks

Costs to repair damage caused by off-road or other negligent use

Fines incurred for Road Traffic or parking offences

Motorway tolls

Our Fuel Policy

The vehicle will be provided with 1/6th of a tank of fuel. You will then need to buy only as much fuel as you feel you require for the duration of your period of hire. We expect you to return the vehicle with an empty tank. We cannot offer refunds for any unused fuel.


For bookings made more than eight weeks in advance of hire commencement date we will accept a Sterling cheque (which must include an additional £10 bank clearance charge). For bookings made less than eight weeks from hire commencement date we will accept payment by bank transfer. Alternatively, you can pay in cash, in Euros only, at our office. 

Documentation & Hire Conditions

We will need to see your passport and Driving Licence (photocard) each and every time you hire a car from us.  After 8th June 2015 we will require a ‘SHARE DRIVING LICENCE’ record and/or ‘LICENCE CHECK CODE’. These can be obtained from the UK Government website here. Please note: La Marina Services International only hires cars to drivers with a valid licence, minimum of two years qualified driving experience and who are over 24 years of age.


We will always do our best to ensure that the vehicle you receive is the model or type that you have requested. However, on occasion it may be necessary to offer an alternative vehicle if this model or type is not available. 

Airport Collection and Return

There is no surcharge for vehicle collection from Alicante (El Altet) airport during the hours of 08:00 to 22:00 for hire periods of one week or more.

There will be a surcharge of 30 Euros for vehicle collection outside of these hours and/or for hire periods of less than one week.

There is no surcharge for vehicle return to Alicante airport.

We do not offer a vehicle collection or return service for Murcia (San Javier) airport.

Please Note:

Vehicles hired from La Marina Services International are not permitted to be driven outside the borders of mainland Spain.
